Antique Show 
This semi-annual event (1st weekend in April and 1st weekend in October) draws antique vendors from around the world.          

Festival Hill in Round Top  This is a magical place! The Festival Institute at Round Top is a year-round educational institute that offers a variety of internationally recognized performances for people of all ages amongst a broad range of cultural services that include not only concerts, but recordings, films, forums in history, museum topics, decorative arts, architecture, landscaping and garden and herbal history.

The Antique Shops in Carmine This well-known collection of antique shops are located on Hwy. 290 in Carmine. Open every weekend 10 to 5, and everyday during April and October antique events.              

  Burton Cotton Gin & Museum   Tour the best-preserved gin from the turn-of-the century era of full cotton gin mechanization. Other historic buildings include the Wehring Shoe Shop, the Cotton Warehouse and the Burton Auto Garage.          

Lake Somerville State Park     Large state park with boating and other outdoor activities.  
The Wine Shop at Round Top Over two thousand wines by the glass, bottle or case from around the world. Charming little rustic shop with antiques, wine accessories and outdoor seating.

Shakespeare Festival at Winedale   Productions by the University of Texas English Department celebrating Shakespeare in an outdoor theater.
